Param and Inder Discuss about Handwriting and Typing

Param and Inder discussing handwriting and typing conversations at Sunshine Achievers Tech

Param: Hi Inder! How are you doing today?

Inder: Hello Param! I’m doing really well. What about you?

Param: I’m good too. Recently, I’ve been spending a lot of time on my laptop, and it made me realize how important typing has become in our daily lives.

Inder: That’s absolutely true. Nowadays, almost everything depends on typing. Whether it’s studying, office work, chatting with friends, or even shopping online, people use keyboards all the time. Technology has completely changed the way we work and communicate.

Param: I completely agree with you. Personally, I prefer typing much more than handwriting because it feels faster and more convenient. Whenever I make mistakes while typing, I can quickly correct them without rewriting everything again.

Inder: Same here. I also feel typing saves a lot of time, especially while writing assignments or preparing notes. Earlier, students used to write pages and pages by hand, but now most work is completed digitally on laptops and computers.

Param: Exactly! I also think typed documents look much cleaner and more professional compared to handwritten ones. Sometimes my handwriting is not very neat, so typing gives me more confidence.

Inder: That happens with many people. I mostly use my laptop because it is portable and easy to carry anywhere. I use it for typing assignments, writing emails, searching online, and sometimes even for entertainment like watching videos or chatting with friends.

Param: When did you actually learn how to type properly? Did you ever take a typing course?

Inder: No, I never joined any formal typing class. I learned naturally while using computers during my school years. In the beginning, I typed very slowly because I constantly looked at the keyboard while writing. But gradually, with practice, my speed improved a lot.

Param: The same thing happened with me. At first, typing felt difficult and confusing. But after regular use, my fingers automatically started remembering the positions of the keys. Now I can type much faster without looking at the keyboard all the time.

Inder: Practice really makes a huge difference. Even using social media, chatting online, and writing emails help improve typing speed naturally. The more we use keyboards, the more comfortable we become with them.

Param: Definitely. I also think computer games improve typing and hand coordination because they require quick reactions and frequent use of keys.

Inder: That’s actually true. Games help improve finger movement and reaction speed. Over time, typing becomes natural and effortless.

Param: Even though typing is extremely useful, I still believe handwriting has its own importance. Writing by hand feels more personal and creative. Sometimes I can remember information better when I write notes in a notebook instead of typing them.

Inder: I completely agree with you. Handwriting improves concentration and memory. Many teachers also believe that handwritten notes help students understand and remember concepts more effectively.

Param: That’s very interesting. I think both typing and handwriting are important in different ways. Typing helps us work faster, while handwriting helps improve creativity and learning.

Inder: Absolutely. In today’s world, maintaining a balance between traditional skills and digital skills is very important. Technology may continue growing, but handwriting will always remain valuable.

Param: You’re right, Inder. It was really nice discussing this topic with you today.

Inder: Same here, Param. Conversations like these help us understand how much technology has changed our daily lives.
